Braincup Privacy Policy Last updated: October 3, 2026 Braincup is a brain training app by Simon Schubert, available for Android, iOS, desktop and the web. This policy explains what happens with your data when you use it. THE SHORT VERSION Braincup has no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no accounts of its own. I do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your scores, achievements and settings stay on your device. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE Your game progress, scores, achievements and settings (such as language, sound and color-blind mode) are saved locally on your device. They are never sent to me. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them. GOOGLE PLAY GAMES (ANDROID, GOOGLE PLAY VERSION) The version of Braincup installed from Google Play can sign you in to Google Play Games. When you are signed in, the app uses Play Games to unlock achievements, submit your scores to leaderboards, restore achievements you have already earned, and show your Play Games name and avatar inside the app. Leaderboard scores are visible to other Play Games players. This data is processed by Google, not by me, under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Braincup only asks for basic Play Games access. It does not request your email address, contacts or any other Google account data. Signing in is optional; every game works without it. The Google Play version may also show Google's in-app rating prompt, which is handled entirely by Google Play. GAME CENTER (IOS) On iOS, Braincup uses Apple Game Center for achievements and leaderboards, and shows your Game Center name. This data is processed by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). Game Center is optional. SUPPORTERS LIST (ANDROID, DESKTOP AND WEB) The main menu shows the people who support Braincup on GitHub Sponsors. To display it, the app downloads the public list of sponsors from ghs.vercel.app and their profile pictures from GitHub. Like any web request, these servers can see your IP address. No other data is sent. VERSIONS WITHOUT GOOGLE SERVICES The versions distributed outside Google Play (for example F-Droid, Flathub and the desktop builds) contain no Google Play Games or other Google services. CHILDREN Braincup does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. CHANGES If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
